It's amazing how he has managed to turn such a harsh environment into the perfect landscape upon which to draw and capture the amazing beauty of Tatyana. He manages to make Tatyanas blend in with the beauty of nature and to even complement it.

This is another part of the American nudes series from David Nudes. Those seem to be more pictures from the Utah set featuring Tatyana, another part was posted here before.
The images are just as beautiful and the scenery as breathtaking. It's the second gallery with beautiful American nudes for today and another one is still on the way.
Human greatness has been manifested throughout modern and even ancient history through sculptures and paintings of the human form. Gods and Goddesses often appeared nude or semi-nude. Our nudity and the shapes of our bodies have always fascinated us as a species. The representation ranges from crude cave paintings to the complex nudes of today. Toplessness and nudity were the norm in many societies. The paintings of the Ancient Egyptians had many topless females, it's similar for the Minoans, even the accounts of the first encounters with Australian aborigines are full of women and men roaming freely au naturale.
The modern concept of body shame is therefore very perplexing. Was it Victorian up-tightness that made clothes so important? Was it the poverty that preceded the mass-production of modern apparel that made clothes a sign of wealth? It is indeed a very interesting thing trying to consider all the causes that led to modern attitudes towards nudity and the female nude. Body shame is clearly not a sign of being civilized, the ancient civilizations embraced nudity. Also, in modern nations with strong cultural influence and highly-civilized attitudes - mainly Germany and Scandinavia - nudity is no longer taboo. Actresses commonly appear nude, and it has nothing to do with attracting an audience or appealing to the lowest common denominator. I personally think that nudity is abstract for those who can appreciate it, and basic when people can't - Dwayne Bell's mirror effect. By preventing people from seeing the bigger meaning and leaving them entrapped to basic sexual associations then we are actually curbing their power to imagine and to aspire to a higher moral ground. To see what's beyond the obvious.
This particular set reminded me of that awe, that powerful inspiration of the human form, and the hope that it offers. The hope without which we are lost.
Tatyana poses near a castle in Sicily. While I have grown accustomed to expecting nudes shot in the United States from David-Nudes, this one still isn't disappointing. It's just as beautiful. Shot near the ruins of an old castle in Italy, it follows the theme of nudity and ruins, but it's executed very well.
The great things about that theme is that it shows nature's reclaiming some man-made structures. It's a transposition of the young and the old. The contrast can create wonderful results when it's executed well, as in this gallery. Tatyana's grace allow her to blend in with the scene, but her beauty is hard to miss.

The United States is full of beauty, both natural and human. There is beauty in the cities - skyscrapers bearing witness to mankind's ingenuity, the desert - as Tatyana's last gallery in the Utah desert clearly testifies, and beautiful intelligent women who help shape the future of a wonderful nation through their everyday work.
It takes a certain vision to make Tatyana's beauty blend in with such a harsh environment and to bring out the best that such a wonderful location has to offer. It also takes a certain amount of courage to agree to do such a wonderful set, the kind of courage that sets Tatyana apart, and makes her even more beautiful.

David Weisenbarger is featuring a series of beautiful nudes shot in the U.S., mostly featuring American models, on his website David-Nudes. I have to admit that the quality of some of his photographs do indeed surpass all of my expectations.
It's also saddening that genuine American nudes featuring beautiful models have rarely made it to the light. They are always either confined to obscure art galleries, or are simply non-existent. Most of the tasteful nudes here on GN come from Europe. There are many stereotypes about American models and locations, but David proves them wrong.
The scenery is simply amazing and Tatyana, his wife and his muse, is a wonderful lady who's full of energy and whose poses are full of human ambition. She makes those pictures whole with her simple presence. I think that she is the perfect model at such a remarkable place.
Nature is beautiful. There's some sort of peace that we have whenever we go into the great outdoors to inspect the natural wonders of the world. There's a certain sense of awe that we have whenever we walk through a quiet forest or just have some solitary moments on the top of a mountain.
However, this beauty should never distract us from our own beauty. I think this is why all those outdoor sets are that amazing, we get to remember that our beauty is just as great, and that its combination with nature reminds us of how wonderful our conquering of nature is, and may serve as a reminder to how beautiful it will be when we co-exist with nature, this almost serves as a vision of a world of true beauty. A world of tranquility and of a self-confident thinking humanity.

At first glance, I wasn't very impressed with David-Nudes. It looked like another ordinary website of a photographer trying to make some money by listing some of his works. However, after a closer inspection it turned out that he has a slightly different approach.
The first thing that a user may notice is that the entire website is publicly accessible, and it seems to have been like that for a few months now. After delving deeper into the website the sets don't really look that different from the sets that you may find at any other website, except that you can sometimes see the reactions on the models faces and notice that he doesn't use the same techniques and settings over and over again. David sometimes accompanies his sets with a tutorial containing a description of the concept behind those sets and even how he created those sets, and this is something to be respected, even though it may restrict one's interpretation of some of his beautiful works.
There are also video interviews of the models, which simply add to one's fascination and gives the person a glimpse into the model's personalities and souls, thus helping him appreciate the art more fully and to realize that models aren't passive subjects in nude photography.
He also made some photoshoots with a wonderful model named Olya, showing the beauty in the variety of human bodies. It is something that I really appreciated and respected.
Anyway, this website has the potential to be one of the best websites out there. We will just have to wait and see how it turns out, I am very optimistic.
