Revealing female attires in Eastern Europe?
The old soviet-era propaganda posters sometimes had the "ideal" soviet female portrayed in them; wearing a plain, conservative attire, and having a stern expression on her face. While this ideal is now being romanticized once again, it may somewhat explain the freedom that young Eastern Europeans embrace today.
I have read an article a while ago which was discussing just that, the emergence of the modern beautiful Eastern European female. The main hypothesis was that Eastern Europeans aggressively adopted that glamorous western lifestyle that they have been artificially deprived of for decades once they had their own freedom. After being shielded from the Western-style advertisements, many fell victims to all those ideals of beauty that they were presented with. I agree with the first hypothesis, and with the second one to some extent.
I once asked a young male friend who's from Eastern Europe about that, and his answer was "We think that females are the beautiful sex, why should they hide their beauty?". I agree with him. However, I personally think that it is more of a symbol of their newly acquired freedom, of the democracy that they have, or are still fighting to enjoy. It's a symbol of the lack of that culture of suppression that they had to endure for so long. They are now free to become whatever it is that they want to.
The stereotypes about Eastern European sexuality stem from the fact that a lot of models come from Eastern Europe. There are myriad reasons for that, but this doesn't mean that they're more aggressive, it just seems to me that for a young girl a career of modeling sounds like a career of freedom. Of enjoying all those "modern" things that everyone keeps talking about. However, they are more or less stereotypes, and like most stereotypes, there's only little truth in them.
Also, the clothes that the people in Eastern Europe wear are mostly remarkably similar to those that "Westerners" wear. The differences are minor. That basically is just another stereotype.
There's one thing about Eastern Europe that is true though, it's remarkably full of beauty. Not just female beauty, but beauty of nature and of people as well. I can't just describe it, you have to see it for yourself.
So, the next time you see a Russian model as beautiful as Deirdre, try not to think that she's a model just because she's Russian, she's a model because she had the dream and wanted to fight for it. That courage should earn her our respect.
Why do I associate nudity with beauty? What does self-respect have to do with it? Am I helping in the destruction of the self-image of some women?
There are a lot of reasons why a nude woman is beautiful, and those reasons have nothing to do with a wish to see more naked bodies. A nude woman is speaking for a lot of things by being nude, she is showing self-acceptance and a belief in her own strength. She's also showing trust in those around her, she's telling you that she's respecting your humanity and that she has trust in you. Clothes have many functions, one of which is to tell men that they're "sexual monsters".
A nude woman isn't a victim, she's not willing to victimize herself and she can defend herself well. She's not weak, she's strong. She believes in her powers and in her own beauty, those beliefs are sufficient to make her the most beautiful woman in the world.
A nude woman has conquered many inhibitions, has gone past the point of caring about the negative feedback from others about how her body looks. She came to be comfortable with any "blemishes" and transformed them into decorations that adorn her soul.
A woman doesn't need an image or a picture of another woman to feel beautiful. Beauty comes from the soul and then radiates outwards, instead of blaming a picture or some women who spend their days wasting their time in Gym's we should blame the insecurities.
A woman who spends endless hours caring about how she looks is trying to get approval of others and of herself. She is not comfortable in her skin. That's where the problem is. It may be true that women in real life may not look the same as the women that are represented here as "ideals of beauty". but they can be more beautiful. You can converse with a woman in real life, but you can't know the dreams or ambitions of a model. You can't really know the person, all you can do is use your imagination to fill in the blanks.
A woman should believe in herself and in her own powers, nudity is just one way through which those beliefs can be channeled and that's why it should be respected and cherished.
That's why I respect Deirdre, and that's why I find her beautiful.

I absolutely agree with every word that Dwayne has said. However, it is not true that the accessories that a model can wear are always distracting. The proof to this lies in this gallery, Deirdre has red pain on her toe nails, but this doesn't necessarily subtract anything from the quality of the gallery.
I think that Dwayne's real point is that a woman doesn't need any decoration to be beautiful, she is beautiful all by herself and has everything she needs in order to show the world the real wonderful human being that she can be.
Everyone has a side in himself/herself that knows exactly what it takes to achieve the life that s/he want to lead. This side does show itself many times and guides our actions, however, we often lose the balance and let laziness take over. We forget our goals and our lives and become nothing but a hollow picture that is moved around by others. We lose control, and become a part of the faceless crowd, and even find our safety in that crowd.
While there may be safety in numbers in the wild, it isn't true in our modern societies and lives. Everyone of us is unique, yet we consign to desperation and start blaming others for our own mistakes. What's bad in our lives is a direct result of us not nourishing and embracing that positive side of us, that part that knows how to be successful and how to lead a fulfilling life.
To me, beauty activates that side. It makes it stronger, not by evoking some fatuous instinct-driven fantasies, but by helping me guide my compass once again to the pre-set destination, to the ultimate dream. It's not an incentive or something that I want to get, it simply works as a catalyst.
Is it related to sexuality? Even unconsciously?
I don't have an exact answer to that. While I am sure that I don't get any sexual gratification from viewing beauty, let it be in a museum or an art exhibition, or even have a wish of meeting the people featured in those pictures, I only get this result from female nudes.
I have a strong tendency to think that it's because the pictures featuring human subjects are more beautiful, and since the female anatomy is less stark and less threatening than male anatomy it's female nudity that evokes that response rather than male nudity. I think that there may be another biological instinct taking control here, as by mythical representation of male power a male may attribute imaginary powers to the male featured in the pictures and this may elicit a flight rather than a fight response. You wouldn't want to meet Zeus on a rainy day.
Cowardice creates guilt, guilt kills inspiration.
The fact that beauty has a positive effect on that better side may be another reason why it represents a great opportunity to get rid of depression. It helps that side maintain the balance once again, and equilibrium means progress in this case, which is what all human beings should be striving for.
It eliminates the "It would be great if.." from one's mind and replace it with "I will do" That's one of the many positive aspects about it.
It simply helps you rediscover yourself and to rediscover hidden parts of your psyche.
Feel beauty, and improve your life!
Centuries ago young men often travelled great distances to wise men to teach them noble ideas like wisdom, happiness, and courage. The quest itself was far from being an easy one and the instructions often served as obstacles behind which the truth lies.
Those were journeys that we respect and tell quite often in our stories and fairytales. Unfortunately, we always miss the moral of each one of those stories, which is to search for the morals wherever they can be found while daring to challenge anything that may stop us from reaching our final moral destination, fighting and killing the mindless monsters whose aim is to destroy whatever they encounter, and enjoying the light that's offered at the end of the road.
The monsters in our modern days aren't dragons, trolls, or ogres. They are the misconceptions or the serpents that have been growing inside our bodies since the day we were force-fed them. We rarely think about those beliefs that we take for granted, we simply run away and hide from our weak monsters.
We also always miss the places that can teach us all of those morals and the true meaning of beauty for the nudity. Taught to be shallow that is all that we see, nudity, and forget everything that super nudes have to offer.
We don't have to travel great distances to be taught about all the beautiful meanings of life as they can all be found at Body in Mind, we simply don't have the courage to overcome our weaknesses and the misconceptions that we have about nudity.

We tend to underestimate the power of beauty in our lives. Homo sapiens are mainly visual creatures, the way we perceive things through our senses is what makes us aware of our existence and the existence of the things around us. When we were young we started exploring our environments without having a lot of ideas about what's beautiful or not, the world was simply fascinating and through this fascination with what's around us we saw that everything was simply beautiful.
When we try to remember our childhood years the things that may come to mind include the colorful things that we considered beautiful; the beach ball, which may not look that beautiful now, was beautiful because it was colorful and because it made us feel free when we threw it into the air and ran after it. We found the ball beautiful because we loved the feelings associated with it.
We find the the things that we love beautiful and we love beautiful things. There's a strong relationship between beauty and our feelings. If you have a happy marriage then you probably find your marriage settings beautiful when you retrospect about the whole ceremony. The feelings that you have for that event in your life made you find it beautiful event.
We love beautiful things, simply because beautiful things can alter our mood and arouse different feelings in us. This is why beautiful things are found to be that inspirational, the commercials always use beautiful lighting and beautiful models when they want you to buy something, because they understand the power of beauty.
However, as we were growing up our ideas of beauty started to change, mainly influenced what the society considered beautiful and of course our innate aesthetic senses, yet most of us rarely take the time to appreciate beauty; you never have the time to inspect that beautiful plant because you're late for work. You'll be reprimanded if you're caught taking the time to inspect a beautiful thing to help you "get through the day". This is what I mean by saying that we do underestimate beauty, for example, if you do take the time to inspect that beautiful plant you may feel a sudden power surge that will get you to work. It may make you feel great and it may be just what you need to forget all about your problems.
