I have to admit that I sometimes wonder why FEMJOY is so successful. Especially when I go through some of their galleries to find pictures that are purely vulgar. But then I see Stefan Soell's work and remember that he is the reason I still go there.
Vulgarity when it comes to nudes isn't about showing genitalia, models in the lithotomy/lordosis position, or having the model use her hands as a speculum. Basically, vulgarity is having no respect for the viewer's mind or the model's beauty. It's not caring about anything except genitalia spread wide - almost as if to show that the model isn't in a shock - pink mucous membranes - and is likely to be around when you see those pictures.
Vulgarity is not seeing the beauty of a woman's body, or even her genitalia, but only seeing the sexual reaction that the sight of those parts elicits in some people and trying to capitalize on that. It's the disregard for art, beauty, and humanity.
That's the reason why I often question the popularity of FEMJOY and Met-Art. However, I do realize that FEMJOY does have some beautiful sets here and there, mostly thanks to artists like Stefan Soell and Demian Rossi, and for them I am truly thankful.

I swear I knew that this gallery was one of Stefan Soell's works the moment I saw the cover. I believe he can be considered the leader of the tasteful nudes movement with all those tasteful galleries that he presents to us. You never see him getting to close to the model when it isn't necessary. He always wants his models to look as natural as possible, Alison has natural unshaved pubic hair, which is something I really respect, few photographers dare to photograph a completely natural girl without making absurd demands regarding the way the model looks on camera.
There's an actual swan in one of the picture, it's really hard to tell who is more graceful, Alison or the swan?. Well ,I will let you judge for yourselves.
Enjoy the power of FEMJOY!
