Domai is full of beautiful nudes. I personally am a fan of this website and its philosophy of simple nudes, but is this enough to make it the best nudity-related website on the Internet?
Domai has a lot of testimonials and even reference in major nudity-related magazines like Playboy, but should this fame be taken for granted?
I am now more experienced with the world of nudity and therefore the wow-factor(the first impression) has faded to an extent. Therefore I can try now to give an honest opinion about Domai without being biased or one-sided.
Domai follows what is called the philosophy of simple nudes. This philosophy has one main goal which is to make human beings able to enjoy the beauty of females without feeling guilty. Domai stands for Dirty Old Men's Association International, which is meant to be a joke about the society and the phrase that's used to describe those who take the liberty to enjoy the female beauty in public(whether they're males or females).
In order to achieve that goal Eolake Stobblehouse has chosen to do his best to get rid of the artificial elements in order to just give the viewer simple non-sexual beauty. As Eolake puts it, "DOMAI is not really about women, but about the beauty of women.". It's not intended for those human beings who are just there for the nudity(those will find an erotic website more attractive), it's for the open-minded persons who like taking the chance to experience the purity and the beauty of the nude female form.
It's hard to follow your own rules and some webmasters write philosophy pages to make their websites look better. Is Domai one of those websites or do they follow their philosophy?
This is a tricky question. I personally haven't found anything on Domai that contradicts with their rules. They do have few fine art nudes sets in their members' area, but nothing was alarming about those. I haven't found any erotica there; the galleries are always beautiful and non-sexual.
Unlike other webmasters, Eolake doesn't write(make up) anything about the models, there is no clear political agenda; the clear intention isn't to fight for women's freedom to take off their clothes, it's about making human beings feel proud of being able to enjoy the female beauty. I don't take this as a point against Domai, but it would be much better if Domai used its power to spread this simple benevolent message along with its main message, it may make a difference.
This gallery shows you the true power of simple nudes. It has most of the characteristics of the movement; Ira is beautiful, she's smiling most of the time, the background isn't that distracting, the galleries are shot outdoors, the pictures are non-sexual in nature, and the images look great. It's just hard not to take the time to enjoy them.
In conclusion, Domai is a website intended for those who want to enjoy the beauty of the female form without having any sexual intents. It can easily be considered the best website in this genre (BodyInMind is good too, but I talk more about it in another post), it simply is the best.

This gallery represents everything that I love. It's a Domai gallery by Stefan Soell, and as most of you know, Domai is my favorite website and Stefan Soell is one of my favorite photographers(I don't like some of his works that are found on FEMJOY, but the majority of his works are inspiring).
Domai is my favorite website, and it's easy to guess why. They have pure images of beautiful carefree models who are enjoying the freedom of nudity and are positive about it. I consider Domai as the connection between the world of nude photography and the world of social nudism. It combines the freedom of non-sexual nudity with beautiful locations and simple photography techniques to produce all of those wonderful galleries.
They may not have pictures whose resolution is big enough that you can cover a building with the picture if you print it, as this marketing philosophy is used by the websites promoting cheap erotica as it gives the users the ability to concentrate on certain body parts as an arousal device. The fact that those high resolution images are available means that the goal of those websites isn't to enable the user to enjoy the beauty of the images as a whole. This is, in my humble opinion, sexual objectification of women.
On the other hand, when you read Domai's philosophy and actually understand why their images are different from the tasteless images that are found on the other websites you will understand why there's not a lot of emphasis on the size of the images. It all really is about the positive feelings associated with nudity and fulfilling the aesthetical desire that each one of us has, rather than to fulfill the sexual fantasies of the viewer or to depict the models in a sexual way in order to make some profit.
I am the kind of person who loves what he respects, and that's why Domai has quickly become my favorite website. The atmosphere of hypocrisy that's found at some other websites simply isn't there and they give what they promise they will give, and that's pure nonsexual images of the human female form that has a remarkable ability to inspire the viewer. It may be a third genre of nude photography(as opposed to fine art nudes and erotica), but it's indeed capable of producing wonderful masterpieces. Domai is the leading tasteful nudes website on the Internet, I can make that claim while being confident that few will disagree. It's simply the respect for the models' beauty that makes Domai one of the best websites on the Internet. They have the works of a lot of great photographers as well(including Stefan Soell), it seems to me that every photographer I can think of has some works on Domai, which is quite surprising. I can also find almost every model I can think of there(Marketa Belonoha is known there as Jenny. I have included a picture of Maria Kenig in this gallery, she is known there as Mariah). What's quite surprising to me is that I was introduced to most of the photographers through Met-Art which places some emphasis on the creator of every gallery, however, through inspecting the Met-Art works of some photographers I have created a mental chart containing every photographer and his capabilities (more inclined to producing erotica, simple nudes, or super nudes). Anyway, I have found a lot of works of the photographers, whose works at Met-Art were considered by me to be of a low quality, at Domai, and to my surprise their works were very tasteful there. I don't know the exact instructions Met-Art gives to its photographers, but I am sure that the instructions given to the photographers by Domai simply bring out the best in them and make their talents resurface, thus, given you the best non-sexual nudes you can find anywhere.

I am not dyslexic, however, I have just realized that I have been spelling(and pronouncing) the name of one of my favorite photographers in a wrong way. I was looking at this Domai picture and read the name of the photographer, but, to my surprise it was written as "Sergey Goncharov", I was about to contact Domai to tell them about their mistake when I just checked and found his name to be Sergey Goncharov and not Segrey Goncharov...It's weird how one makes such mistakes, I believe I need to read the name of the photographer every time I see any of his works to make sure I am spelling and pronouncing his name correctly.

This gallery is the best manifestation of the beauty of the simple nudes' galleries. I personally don't find it "too simple" or "not so beautiful" as some people claim. I don't know what wrong about showing the model in a nonsexual way, yes sex sells, but I am not sure if it's that respectful to the model when you just depict her as "another sexy female" as it just makes her lose her identity, her face may be ignored to show her primary erogenous zones to deliver certain sexual messages, this makes the model just a beautiful female body that's being used, it's hard to deliver your personality through the images where the photographer shoots your body with his camera being 5 cm away from it.

Tasteful Nudes from the source, this sounds like a good title for this gallery, but, what do I mean by "the source"?, Is it Domai?
Well, Domai sure is one of the sources of the most tasteful nude images of young women out there, but, "the source" here isn't only Domai.
If you look at the copyright notice of those images you will notice that they were shot by Eolake Stobblehouse, the founder of Domai and one of the founders of the simple nudes philosophy. This is what I meant by the source. Eolake has a lot of different talents including photography, painting, writing, and of course appreciation of true beauty which is a talent that inspired the creation of one of the best nudity websites out there.
This gallery have some early images of Marketa Belonoha (Jenny). She has worked with almost all the photographers out there, therefore her pictures can be used to judge the skill of the different photographers with whom she has worked. If I am to judge Mr. Stobblehouse's skill through the images that he has taken of her, then I can confidently announce him one of the best photographers out there as he could capture all of her grace, and he did it in a truly remarkable way. Those images remind me with the early images of her from Erotic Destinations which are just as enchanting.
